Gary Nikiel
Founder & Owner
Gary Nikiel is the owner and founder of Elite Medical Supply. He received a BS in Finance & Business Administration from the State University of New York at Fredonia. After spending years in the roles of salesperson and regional manager selling back braces, bone stimulators and spinal implants, he became a certified orthotic fitter and founded Elite Medical Supply in 1998. Treating every patient as family has been the company motto since day one. Having been an avid motorcyclist and weightlifter, he now enjoys walking, music, reading, cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Sabres and spending time with his family.
John Nikiel
President
John is the President of Elite Medical Supply. He began with Elite Medical Supply a decade ago and has occupied various positions over the years, learning many aspects of the DME industry. John came to Elite Medical Supply after completing a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. John enjoys honing his home improvement skills, showing his support for the Bills, and fine tuning his golf game in his spare time.
Jon Burchfiel
Manufacturing Manager
Jon is the Manufacturing Manager at Elite Medical Supply. In this role he has oversight of the Elite Medical Supply medical device manufacturing facility located in Tennessee. Jon joined Elite Medical Supply in 2017 to open an FDA registered medical device manufacturing facility where the company’s proprietary Multi-Mode Stimulator is manufactured. Prior to joining Elite Medical Supply, Jon completed a B.S. degree in Business Management and has worked for manufacturing companies in the DME industry. Jon is an outdoorsman and enjoys the challenges every season brings. His family and friends are sources of inspiration that propel his life forward.
Mary Beth Ferrini
Controller
Mary Beth comes from a background of over 20 years in public accounting with extended knowledge of financial reporting and small business taxes. In 2012 she joined the Elite Medical Supply team as Controller entering the private sector for the first time. Mary Beth brings her expertise and experience into effectively managing the day-to-day financial operations of the Company. Mary Beth enjoys cooking, swimming, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family.
Heather Shevlin
In-House Counsel
Heather supports the operations at Elite Medical Supply as In-House Counsel. She is committed to preserving and enhancing Elite’s merited reputation through a dedication to the highest ethical standards and patient care. Heather earned degrees, with distinction, in Political Science and Law. After several years as a general practitioner, she bid farewell to private law practice to join the Elite team in 2014 with a focus on building its network and surpassing industry standards. Heather also strives to perpetuate a superior work environment for all of Elite’s employees. She is inspired daily by her husband and their two young children. Heather enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, although rarely gets an enthusiastic review from the family.
